Laser Therapy is a surgery free, drug free, non-invasive treatment that uses an intense beam of laser light directed into tissues to reduce pain and inflammation, and accelerate healing. It is a pain-free way to provide relief for your pet. Most commonly, Laser Therapy can be used for: arthritis, hip dysplasia, spinal cord issues, skin conditions, ear infections, wounds, degenerative joint disease, sprains, gingivitis, insect bites, inflammation of the intestines, burns, and to decrease healing time and increase pain relief after a surgical procedure.
Treatment protocols are unique to each patient and condition. It can be used to enhance other treatment plans recommended by our veterinarians. The benefits of Laser Therapy include decreasing inflammation, reducing pain, improving quality of life for senior and arthritic patients, restoring mobility post-surgery, improving function and quality of movement after an injury, managing acute and chronic pain, increasing of strength, range of motion, endurance and performance. One big benefit is decreased use of chronic medications.
