Dr. Tracy Wight, DVM CVCP-Owner

Dr. Wight is the owner of McClintock Animal Care and has been with the practice since 1990. She grew up in Tempe, attending McClintock High School. Her professional interests include internal medicine, cardiology, dermatology, laser therapy, and feline medicine. Dr. Wight enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. She loves her two Maltese/Havanese dogs, Novi and Sparkles.

Dr. Karen Claus, DVM CVCP

Dr. Claus is an associate doctor at McClintock Animal Care. She moved to Tempe in 1986 to enjoy the desert and joined us in 1997. Her professional interests include surgery, dentistry, and pocket pets. She is also a certified Chiropractioner. Dr. Claus has a wonderful black cat named Lucky. She shares her home with her husband and 2 children.

Dr. Marnie Duplissis, DVM CVCP

Dr. Duplissis joined the practice in 2001 as an associate veterinarian. She also grew up in Tempe, attending McClintock High School. Her professional interests include dermatology, internal medicine, pain control, and geriatric care. She is a certified Chiropractioner. Her furry family includes Tico, a black/white cat, and Scout, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Dr. Duplissis and her husband enjoy spending time together with their son and daughter.

Dr. Rebecca Matchette, DVM

Dr. Matchette joined the practice as an associate veterinarian in 2016. She is an Arizona native and grew up in Phoenix. Her professional interests include pain management, internal medicine, geriatric medicine and hospice care. She has one senior cat named Kukui and her family just adopted a sweet rescue dog named Leila. Dr. Matchette enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, son, their families and close friends. In her free time she likes to read, travel and watch ASU sports.

Dr. Sarah Nelson, DVM

Dr. Nelson joined the practice in 2017 as an associate veterinarian. She grew up in Minnesota but spent the past year in Portland, Oregon. Her professional interests include surgery, dentistry, feline medicine and ophthalmology. She also enjoys preventive care and building relationships with pet owners. In her free time Dr. Nelson enjoys playing volleyball, hiking, reading and spending time with her two cats, Wally and Layla.

Becky

As our Client Services and Team Development Manager, Becky has helped keep our practice running smoothly since coming on board in 2007. You will always find her wearing a smile and ready to help! Becky says she truly enjoys meeting all of our pet parents and their pets, and being a part of the great care they receive at our practice. Her family consists of her wonderful husband and rambunctious cat Monkey. In her free time, Becky loves to travel and just be outdoors (she has lived in many exotic locations!).

Caroline

Caroline joined us in 2009. Tired of the weather in her hometown of Syracuse, NY, she moved here for the sun and heat. Her passion for animals led her to pursue a career in the veterinary field. As well as being a nurse, Caroline is also the Hospital Administrator for us. Caroline and her husband share their home with four dogs: a Lab mix rescue Maddie, a Great Dane Ender, a Basset Hound mix rescue Tandum, and a Chihuahua mix River. When not working she loves to be in the sun and pool with her fantastic dogs.

Tammie

Tammie is part of our front desk team, joining us May 2010. She moved to Arizona from New Jersey, and was previously a stay-at-home mom to her two adorable boys, Dominic and Anthony. She also lives with her husband, cat Kawi, as well as Romeo, Brutus and Lola, her blue Pit Bulls. Tammie has always held a special place in her heart for all animals and is so happy to be able to work with them everyday. When not at work, she enjoys spending her free time with her family.

Brittany

Brittany was born and raised right here in Phoenix and has been with us since 2010. She knew at a very young age that she had a strong passion for caring for animals. This passion has channeled into becoming one of our surgery nurses. She enjoys seeing our Pit Bull and Great Dane patients and in her free time loves to catch up with family and traveling!

Dani

Dani is one of our rare AZ natives! She joined our nursing team in early 2012. Dani attended Pima Medical Institute and graduated in 2009 with honors. She and her husband, Preston, welcomed their first baby girl, Kennedy, in December of 2016. They have three dogs; Kahlua, Stoli and CC, and a Sphynx cat, Stella. In her spare time, Dani enjoys trying new restaurants and spending time with family and friends. At work, Dani loves meeting our scruffy terrier patients.

Alison

Alison joined our nursing team in the summer of 2014 and has been actively working in the veterinary field since 2006. She was born and raised right here in AZ and couldn't imagine living anywhere else! Alison shares her home with her husband, her son, and her two Chihuahuas-Jack and Wally. In her free time she enjoys crafting and hanging out with family and friends.

Lindsey

After growing up in Southern Arizona and living in New Hampshire for a short while, Lindsey moved to Tempe and joined the McClintock team in 2014. She has a degree in Creative Writing from The University of Arizona and enjoys proper grammar and syntax as well as vegan cooking. When not at work, she can usually be found at home with her boyfriend and two kitties, Grey Cat and Black Cat.

Lauren

Lauren moved to Gilbert in 2014 from Flagstaff where she attended NAU and earned a degree in Graphic Design. During her free time Lauren loves drawing and painting pets for her family and friends. She enjoys archery and going hiking and camping up north with her husband and two Shiba Inus, Aria and Sansa. When she does stay in the valley, she can be found walking her dogs throughout Gilbert, trying new restaurants or watching re-runs of The Office.

Sydney

Sydney joined our team in August of 2015. She is currently attending classes at Chandler-Gilbert Community College. Sydney shares her home with her Lionhead rabbit, Mr. Bun Bun, Lab mix, Molly, and Labrador Retriever, Beau. In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends, horseback riding, and exploring nature.

Hannah

Hannah moved to Arizona from northern California in 1999. She rescued her German Shepherd mix Jasper and they have been inseparable ever since. During her free time she enjoys going to baseball games, reading and spending time with her family. Ever since Hannah was a little girl she has wanted to work with animals; this is her calling and can’t imagine herself doing anything else!

Cassie

Cassie was born and raised in Chandler, Arizona. Growing up, she would spend every summer on her Grandma's ranch in Nebraska. Ever since then, she knew she wanted to help people and their pets. She shares her home with Daphne, a Belgian Malinois mix, Nubbz, a tailless cat, kitten Fin, and two different types of frogs. She spends her spare time trying to find way to drain the energy out of Daphne, and likes spending time with friends and family.

Riley was born and raised in Australia and moved to the United States in 2011. She grew up around animals and has volunteered at various shelters since she was young. In her free time she enjoys reading and being adventurous with her two basset hounds Maia and Tripp; they are often found hiking or walking through their neighborhood parks. Riley’s appreciation for art led her to receive a degree in Graphic Design & Multimedia.

Ashleigh  

Ashleigh grew up in Mesa, Arizona and graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Veterinary Science and a minor in Biochemistry.  She loves spending time with her cat, Auri; rat terrier mix, Bentley; and ball python, Chilly. In her spare time she enjoys reading fantasy novels, going on hikes, and eating great food.

Claudia  

Born in Southern California, Claudia moved to Mesa, Arizona with her family in 1994. She shares her home with her husband and their three dogs Sampson, Kiruris, and Backham; and a kitty named Pandora. In her spare time she loves to cook, try new recipes, read, dance, and runs away to Disneyland every chance she gets.

Lizzy   

Lizzy was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona. She has graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Veterinary Science, and a Masters in Animal Industry. Lizzy grew up with a passion for animals and hopes to become a veterinarian one day. In her free time she loves running with her dogs Bambi and Jasmine, and when not doing that she enjoys hiking, traveling and eating sushi.

Sheri   

Sheri was born right here in the Phoenix valley. She previously owned her own restaurant in Scottsdale for 15 years and found her calling the veterinary field after selling her business. As a child, she was known for bringing home all sort of critters, from stray dogs and cats to ducks and chickens. Sheri enjoys gardening, reading books, and baking. She is also a practitioner in yoga, she exercises daily and visits weekly classes.

Emily   

Emily was born in Kansas and moved to Arizona at a very young age. She is currently attending Chandler-Gilbert Community College as a part-time student and when she is not in school Emily enjoys traveling with her family to their home in Sedona. Hiking is her favorite outdoor activity and she has frequently visited the trails in both Sedona and Flagstaff. Some of her other hobbies include watching drama TV series on Netflix and baking; her most popular dessert is her replica Harry Potter birthday cake
